Been between sketchbooks so much that I halfway forgot about my computer, and subsequently my blog. But, uh, here's a 'shop doodle from last night- it's pretty silly, but the wings I might use for something.

Fixed up the snake cover- but the color is, unfortunately, digital (actual, tangible color trumps all, etc). I can't seem to put a wash of acyrlic over the paper without destroying the other side, eg. making it lumpy, crunchy, and easily frayed. I've seen painted pieces in moleskines without these nasty little side effects. Am I just watering down the paper too much? Any tips would be great.

Oh, and morning shenanigans.

Three from today. Weak day for faces and anything beyond lumpy anatomy, I'm afraid. I think I can redeem these pages tomorrow, though.




However, I did sit in on an 'History of South Africa' class going on upstairs at HHall. No one noticed, and I even got a hand out!


I mean, really, what else would you expect me to do with it.
